Molarray helps BioBAY Mobile Nucleic Acid Testing Laboratory

On the 19th, the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council held a press conference to introduce the situation of the current round of the epidemic in various places.

The genetic sequencing result of the epidemic in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province is a variant of Omicron, which is a local epidemic caused by a new overseas import source. It is still in the stage of rapid development, and the local area is speeding up the traceability of the epidemic.

Under the epidemic, the demand for nucleic acid testing has increased, and the task of testing nucleic acid samples is arduous. In order to solve this difficulty, Yarui Biology urgently coordinated a batch of PCR machines within 24 hours to help BioBAY-Dian Mobile Rapid Nucleic Acid Testing Laboratory day and night.

The main body of the mobile testing laboratory was completed in 5 hours, and passed the qualification acceptance in 24 hours. It was put into use on the day it was completed on February 19 and the first batch of reports was issued that night, helping the front-line work of epidemic prevention and control in Suzhou Industrial Park with extraordinary speed.

The BioBAY-Dian Mobile Rapid Nucleic Acid Testing Laboratory looks like a "container" and can reach any open area at will. It is reported that the mobile testing laboratory put into use this time is 17.5 meters long and 3 meters wide. The laboratory is equipped with areas such as reagent preparation area, sample preparation area, amplification area and sterilization area. The indoor space is designed with different pressure differences, and is equipped with an integrated air handling unit and a fresh air unit. At present, the laboratory has 12 sets of testing equipment, including sample processing equipment such as automatic nucleic acid extraction instrument and PCR amplification instrument. While improving efficiency, it can greatly reduce the risk of infection by laboratory personnel, making the work in the laboratory more efficient and safer.

After being put into use, the testing personnel in the mobile testing laboratory will use two shifts to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted testing. It can test 12,000 to 15,000 tubes of nucleic acid samples every day, and issue a report within 6 hours. The laboratory can carry up to 18 sets of equipment to operate at the same time, and can provide nucleic acid test reports for 200,000 people every day. This is of course the "artifact" of nucleic acid amplification - the MA-6000 real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument of Molarray Bio, because of its excellent performance, simple operation, easy to use and proven superior performance, and its newly upgraded Drag four (maximum one drag ten) multi-connection function. It has become the main model for nucleic acid detection of the new crown epidemic in China and is recognized by most PCR laboratories.
